PETER HUEBNER:
But the thing is – and this seems to be a law of nature –
that a statesmanship orientated towards material profit, which Hitler
pursued so “successfully” and which the present-day run-of-the-mill
politician pursues so unsuccessfully, at some point, with compelling
necessity, will first lead to non-observance of the
basic human rights, then more and more vehemently to lack
of respect for them and finally to their violation, and in this way
to official undermining of natural human dignity. |

|
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
With
Hitler all this happened faster, as a result of his extremely great
political talent, and with today’s politicians it happens accordingly
slower, due to the inadequate political talent of all of them.
But due to the same basic attitude of materialistically orientated politics, the way to seeming “success” in both cases – yesterday as today – is connected with violating the basic rights of man and undermining his natural dignity. The fact that such violations against the Basic Law must not happen straight away in great numbers is nowadays known to even the most incapable politician – no, this official undermining of the basic human rights through state organs always starts concerning individuals, then extends to smaller groups – so-called dissident minorities – and finally ends with official denigration of larger communities, giving them a criminal status, which in the end leads to persecution by the state. On the way to seeming political success, avarice and craving for power always result in the emotional decline first of the public servants but also, through their official influence, of the whole of human society - i.e. the citizens; this manifests firstly in the persecution of minorities and finally consequently in a large-scale war, where neighbouring countries are sucked into the own problems of inner mental-emotional decline of the attacker. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Such
outwardly directed wars are in reality nothing but lightning-conductors
for the seething potential civil war, which derives from violating the
basic rights of man and undermining human dignity by or via the state
organs. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I am saying deliberately: via the state organs and not exclusively: by the state organs – because by now not seldom the members of parliament and in consequence the political parties and thus finally also the state organs are dependants of totally different financially strong interest groups, which keep discretely in the background, and for whom governmental power is only a special instrument of exercising their own power for pursuing their very special interests. Thus,
Hitler’s last world war was unthinkable without the background
of greedy, power craving economic magnates, and without the active
help of at least the Lutheran Church in Germany. First of all, immediately after Hitler assuming his office, it entrusted “its” entire Lutheran Youth – children as well as youths – to the “great Führer Adolf Hitler” for safe keeping – I am using the expression “entrusted for safe keeping”, because I have meanwhile come to think that the Lutheran Church in Germany has to be considered as the strongest wire puller behind the violations against human rights by the Nazis. |
